Bar end / Tri brake levers

Hi all,
I am looking around for some bar end brake levers. I noticed that there were some that do not have a spring assisted return, and some that do have it.

Would this be a major consideration in choosing the brake lever?

Can someone share their experiences in using such levers?

hey thanks for the link. I went to the local bike shop near work, the bike fella said you wont feel much difference as the springs in the brake calipers would strong enuf to eliminate cable slack.

The shop had a Giant Trinity bike set up with the smallest brake levers I have ever seen, so I gave them a squeeze. Front brake felt pretty responsive, but the rear was pretty spongy, I guess that would be due to the cable length. So possibly the spring loaded lever would aid in the rear brake lever ....
