meh.

Another black/blue frame.

What?! Dude did you see the detail on that CF badboy?! I understand the colorscheme might not be to your liking, but the finish/detail looks unbelievable...

It is a very nice frame, but it sounds like you are trying to advertise it. If you look up carbonguru, you will see what happened to the last person who sounded like a manufacturers rep.

I like Rue's uberlight though

That's funny Bobby! I'm not George ! Do you know that i was surfing the net a couple of months ago and ran into that thread ( the lawyer riding thousands of miles every two weeks on a brand he was trying to peddle )...that thread is what eventually got me here to cyclingforums! hehehehehe

I gotta tell you, these carbon frames look really good to me...go figure! I guess it all comes down to " eye of beholder ".

Powerful Pete

Nice frame, I guess. But it just is not exciting. IMHO, of course. :o

Oh mercy, I guess the gig is up ! You are far too keen for me! I am a representative- but alas, not of Rue's...I represent the following, which I can export Down Under !

Up close, a lot of the new carbon frames look as shoddy as the rushed and sloppily brazed as some of the 'name' Italian frames back during the bike sales boom of 1971-1974.

Well, as someone who's actually seen a Ruegamer frame or two up close, I can say they definitely are not made in a shoddy fashion.

And there is one person associated with Ruegamer's one-person operation: Brent Ruegamer.

There are more pics of more Ruegamer frames at the Weight Weenie website and the Fairwheel Bikes Forum.

The reflected light in the close-up picture of the bottom bracket looks pretty wavy and uneven to me.

Maybe it's just the lighting, glare or poor focus, but it does not look good on my screen.

As we all know, lo-res pics from websites are the best for making quality judgements.

Most of his frames are made such that the joints are wrapped with CF. Brent is also trying to improve his photographic skills.

Better pics of his work are below.

wow? I'd rather a new Casati Marte or a Kuota Kredo - now *they* are nicely finished frames - [and they're Italian...]

wow? I'd rather a new Casati Marte or a Kuota Kredo - now *they* are nicely finished frames - [and they're Italian...]:rolleyes:Hmmm. Somehow I would rather have a custom painted, custom fitted ruegamer with an extended seat tube and maybe ghosted yellow lightning bolt paint and UD carbon finish, and I'd get him to paint some extra parts, like my wheels to match. I could also ask him about creating a custom handlebar/stem (But I think thats crumpton and calfee)

Or I could get a Kuota

Oh yeah, in response to Alienator's post, as I said, the Uberlight is absolutely spectacular. jaw dropping beautiful.

Ruegamer does custom bar/stem combo stuff. He used to work for Calfee.

Um ... to my rather unexperienced eye, these joints look poorly crafted. Are knowledeable folks impressed when seeing a frame that looks like this? Did I miss something?
