Hmm.. not so great. Fuji isn't such a trusted company in my opinion. It looks like an entry level bike too. Also the wheels aren't so great, I can see by the amount of spokes, and since they are round instead of flat. Seat isn't so great either. If you are starting cycling, go for it, good option, but if you want to do races and have experience with cycling, don't consider it.

Go for something like this instead: http://www.light-bikes.de/eng/2007/04/10/storck-fascenario-extreme-edition/if you want a super light bike made of pure carbon. 4.54kg or 9.89 lbs. otherwise time trial, try a Scott Plasma Limited Ed, http://www.mountain-trax.com/images/scott_cr1plasma.jpg
They're much better, however if money is really not of concern, try getting one of Lance's 600 LIVESTRONG bikes, I know of two in Dubai, going for about US$ 16,400.00 each.

If money is not of concern for $16,000 you can get a way better bike than a trek ....
That Fuji is an entry level bike, triple chainring, is more like touring bike ... all depends what you have in mind ....

i have a cannondale r700 with upgraded wheels and a triple. i definitely wouldn't call it a touring bike even though most racers use a compact crank set. i'm not the fastest guy out there, but i do consider myself a climber, if anything, and the tripple does seem to help me alot although i'm sure it is a personal thing how small you want your gears to be on the steep stuff. anyone else racing with/preferring a triple?
as a side note, that fuji also had rack mounts....

Hi,
if your looking to get into road cycling the Fuji looks alright. Pretty well all entry level bikes are much the same - six of one, half dozen of the other - sort of thing.
Fuji make some very nice bikes as well. This "not a trusted company" opinion, I don't know about that or why, needs a little more detail.
Also, the less spokes a wheel has doesn't make it "better" - there are different purposes for different wheels - and a 32 spoked wheel for a starter bike is probably going to be sturdy and last a while.

It's pretty heavy. You could get a much better bike second hand.
Tiagra is not so great either. Get a 2nd hand with Dura-Ace components on it...
