Coded 2.4 CPU work with Old Powertap Pro?

Sorry if this question has been answered already - I searched but didn't find anything. I am wondering if the new 2.4 coded CPU that I got with my (wired) Powertap SL will work with my old Powertap Pro wheel. I tried and it didn't work - but I haven't played with the settings too much yet.

I use a new coded CPU with my Pro - works fine, no problems.
