I have been riding a Specialized bike for a while and I'm trying to figure out what S-Works really means. Other than that it means high end, their website doesn't quite distinguish, say, an S-Works Tarmac from a Tarmac Pro.

Any thoughts?:o

That's cool (from Lockheed's Skunk Works which developed the SR-71 Blackbird I assume). What funcational differences exist between a Tarmac Pro and a Tarmac S Works however?

The S-Works is designed to extract another $1,700 from your wallet. ;)

Not sure about the s-works road bikes, but when specialized made s-works bmx bikes they were lighter than just about every other bmx frame around at the time, and broke much faster/easier.
