This is more about ethics than nutritional science. Many of the
molecules in "meat" or plant foods are the same, actually. However,
certain combinations create a very dangerous biochemistry. For
example, the HCAs in cooked meat and the PUFA-rich oils are a very
dangerous combination. I now consume small amounts of gelatin, but
eat no meat. I will eat eggs, but only if they are boiled. I eat
butter, but would never cook with it. These are the kinds of things
that matter in the health context.
If you stop eating meat long enough it actually does stink.
especially rancid grills. If youre so hot to eat beef borgeneon or
bacon butties then just eat them. Its your life. Yuck. Who cares?
Its rotten to imagine the pain and misery of animals raised for
slaughter. However, there are many humans whose lives are rotten to
contemplate who don't have enough food or clean water. If you think
eating beef borgonian is the only thing that will make you happy, or
if its Doritos than go for it, and make some one rich while your doing
it.
