Wow, nice choice to be making! I don't think you could go wrong with either.

I ride the Tete de Course, coming off a Trek Y-Foil. All the reviews you've read about the Lemond are, if anything, understated! The bike is magnificent to ride!

I currently ride a Foil - I'd be interested to hear your contrasts in the two bikes. Personally, the Foil keeps me happy, but one can never own too many bikes...

Damn I wish I could have afforded that sweet ride. You are a lucky man :D

Sorry for the delay...
the foil was light, cruised nicely, bounced a bit on sprinting, a bit unsteady on high-speed descents, didn't tolerate high-cadence spinning well (because I suck), but nonetheless. The Lemond handles like it's on RAILS! Makes you feel 10 lbs. lighter when climbing. Rolls beautifully on extended straights. The comfort factor on the bike is incredible. Basically, it's the best bike I've ridden. The positioning also puts me a bit further behind the pedals. I am definitely getting more power to the wheel than on my Trek. I rode a 5200 the other day. For the $$$, that's a SWEET bike! I like the Lemond better, but if price is an issue, the 5200 could be a great choice. I enjoy the traditional geometry more for my type of riding.

I don't know too much about the Lemond, but the Ottrott is a complete custom frame you decide the angles and length of tubes with the shop that has worked with the fit cycle. The Ottrott has I think they 5 different gauges of carbon tubes for your type of riding and weight of your body. Serotta has been building excellent quality Ti frames for over 25 years. If you want to spend a lot of money on a frame Serotta is one of the best out there. A lot of folks think that custom frames are not needed because you can fit on most frames of standard geometrys but they do not allow for peoples weight and riding style. Good frame builders all have different gauges of tubes for their clients.
