the LeMond in back looks like a 2004 (I have the '04 Buenos Aires, so the decals look familiar) - what year and model is the one in front?

The one in front is a 2003 Tête de Course 55cm.

Cipher...the Tete de course has the 3/2.5 Ti for the down tube and carbon on the top tubeand seat tube .... is the BB and down tube stiff enough? can you do a comparative review against another bike that has a stiff BB and good acceleration? after all, 3/2.5 Ti can be flexy.
Be honest now :D
Thanks

I started riding this a year ago and love it. Both bikes in the photo are the same bike, I can move the front tire to make it either a long or short wheel base. And the under seat stearing is great.

I can't give you much of a report, but I'll agree with you about Ti being on the 'flexible' side. I rode a 2003 LeMond Victoire last year, and certainly noticed bottom bracket deflection... I did have a chance to ride to 2003 Tête de Course you see in the picture a little last year, and with the addition of the carbon seat tube, I would have to say the ride does firm up a bit with no chain rub from the front dérailleur. That bike is equipped with Campy which has more trim options in the front dérailleur unlike the Ultegra I rode last year. (This may have allowed me to dial out the potential for the bottom bracket flex/rub one would get while sprinting or climbing out of the saddle). One last point, the '03 is a 55cm (which due to its slightly shorter tub set) which might contribute to a slightly stiffer frame. My bike is a 57cm. Hope this helps!

ok,

its a morati crankset weight 315gramm (its never been used), I signed it up by Jan ulrich in 2003/tour de suisse
The total weight crankset without pedals ist 446gramm.
I built it up with ti-bolts an syncros-crank-o-matic.
pedals are the CX-7-carbon version.
The crankset won`t be produeced some years ago.
If you want, I can send detailed pics.

OOOOOOOOH serotta.....

My local Bike shop has an interesting serotta.
A guy comes in and orders a Serotta MTB, he has all 2003 XTR, King, Etc, basically the most expensive everything, arguably the best. So he pays up front right, they build it, call him to let him know its ready and get a DEA rep. (Drug Enforcement Agency). Turns out the guy worked for some Cartel, and was assasinated the day before. They tell him he WONT be in to pick it up.

Now the LBS has a 7000.00 MTB paid for lock stock and barrel, little chance of selling it to someone else. Pretty funny. It just sits on a display.
