I definitely don't criticize people for their frame choices ..... as long as they aren't hypocrits. If someone weighs 200+ lbs and buys an aluminum/ti/carbon frame to get the lightest bike to climb with, they are only fooling themselves, and wasting money

Why are they foolinf themselves. Wanting to buy expensive bikes is not something limited to skinny riders. For most people the point in buying expensive bikes is only to own expensive bikes (they are fun to ride even if you don't race much) a person's weight hardly seems revelant

I agree. Proly an exception is a skinny guy I know who weighs almost 200 lbs. He is taller than Edwig Van Hooydonk and he owns a sub 16lb bike so he can climb better. If he gets any skinnier he'll look like a holocaust victim.

I know the colour's a bit boring and personally I hate the really thin tubing, but it's very low maintenance and weighs no more than a sheet of paper even with that huge saddle! ;)

http://www.auan93.dsl.pipex.com/mybike.gifIs that stick tubing? Because it looks like stick tubing and I hear that stuff is suppose to be very light and easy to work with.

That's right - it's called Columbus Stiff Stick. Unfortunately someone rubbed the sticker out with an erasure though. : )
