If I get a Polar CS200cad will the speed sensor work if it's mounted on the rear wheel? I read some where you can change the jumper position inside the speed sensor to increase the transmit power from the rear wheel. Does anyone have experience with Polar speed sensors on the rear wheel?

Thanks

ThanksI also have this system. I don't think there's anything to bypass in the sensor to give the transmitter a stronger signal. The units are sealed to make them water resistant. I asked once about what happens when the transmitter runs out of battery, and you're supposed to buy a new one instead of service it.

The CS sensors are not the same as the S-series sensors. Increading range by adjusting the jumper was possible on S-series cycling sensors, new CS sensors can not be opened.

Thanks for the info....Hmmm Your screen name makes me want to clear something else up.:)
I currently have a Polar HRM that only tells me my average HR after the workout is over. Does the CS200cad or any other model give you average HR during the ride? If so can it give average and current HR on the same screen as you ride?

Thanks again
