i am a bit puzzled by "No Positives" so bear with me a moment. I used to be a major LA supporter and am still amazed by his TDF victories. But he is retired now, and my general cynicism about doping in cycling has tainted my belief that he walks on water. I don't bash him in this forum, but even when i was a huge supporter of his, I never saw the need to jump to his defence except to engage in a discussion with others on this forum as nicely as possible.

So, "No Positives": I realize you are a LA supporter. and I also realize he has lots of bashers on this forum which could be offensive to all LA's supporters.

But can you explain why you appear to proactively defend him on this forum? are you connected to him in any way? are you connected with thepaceline.com in any way? or are you just an ardent fan?

i ask these questions with all due respect just so i can better understand where you are coming from.

No need to be puzzled. He's just a mad, rude, old spinster with a Tom Jones/Barry Manilow/Lance fixation. We also know that he is an agressive snitch who can become strangely sensitive when criticised.

Lets say you are walking down the street with a lot of money in your hand. Someone stops you and says “where did you get all that money. Did you rob the town bank?” You say “no I have been working hard.” And they say “no I think you robbed the bank.” And you say “no I have been working hard.” And they say “no I think you robbed the bank.” Etc. etc.

They even go to the bank and look at the security cameras to see who came in to the bank and your picture is not on the camera. This goes on and on for seven years with them saying the only reason you have all that money is because you robbed the bank, you saying you have the money because you work hard, and the security cameras at the bank showing that you have never even been to the bank.

Now wouldn’t you be upset if people continued to call you a bank robber?

No Positives: on the basis of your response ("calling you a bank robber), are you Lance Armstrong? if you are, then I will consider your posts in a different light -- that is, they are coming directly from the source.
