it's amazing how many people, especially Yanks, have no idea that Dr House and George (etc) are the same guy :)Who's George?...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/blackadder/ecards/images/ecard7.jpgOh....Hugh Laurie.....I thought you were referring to a troll we had here in the GT forum (that we just slayed) who used as one of his many handles "Doctor.House".
I've been watching season 2 Blackadder after being reminded in this thread, and the scripts/shows are great. That was when Percy was around instead of George.

Oh, could it be? I hold in my hand a nugget of pure green.
It's a brooch, my Lord. A brooch cunningly fashioned out of pure green.

"Tell me, Brother Baldrick, what exactly did God do to the Sodomites?"
"I dunno, but I can't imagine it was worse than what they used to do to each other."
Second season was my favorite. The third was close, though. The fourth was sort of depressing if you stopped to think about the situation. And the first was dark and off a little.
I was entertained by Johnny English. Watching Malkovich play a Frenchman was rather funny. I wish a sequel would be made.

Johnny English was panned by the critics, but it was funny in places. Malkovich's french accent I found a little annoying.
Here's an interview that Rowan Atkinson gave to Michael Parkinson (an evening talk show host in England) about Mr. Bean and Blackadder if anyone is interested. He plays so many different characters that it's just interesting to hear his normal voice.

And here's the final couple of minutes of the final episode of Blackadder where they jump the trench and get shot.

Favorite TV shows.
I don't watch much network TV. The only shows I watch regularly are Family Guy, Nova, Frontline, and Survivorman. The occasional Seinfeld rerun is okay.

Hey Bro...We lost all our Tommy Bigfoot posts when Lim deleted the spam threads.
Can we get the relevant information here for further discussion. I just had this image of Tommy secretly fantasizing about being "adopted" by a voluptuous female Sasquatch. He would probably be able to add to his doo doo collection as well, if she let him.
I think we just need the links to the article(s) and the lovely picture you had of "Miss Bigfoot 2006".

Spongebob Squarepants, Kim Possible, Drake and Josh, Ned's Declassified.
Are there other shows?
My kids also like Survivorman; I think he's an idiot. Myth Busters is funny.

I have been a "The Simpsons" addict. I have to come out of the closet on this one.

So NNS, you get drawn into alot of your kids' shows I notice. The worst kids' show I ever saw was Teletubbies. It was torturous. Here's a great sample clip that exemplifies the depth of the show.

Teletubbies makes perfect sense if you watch it when under the influence of some mind altering substance. ;) :p

Funny you should mention that...that is a form of punishment in my house. Once, when I had to get creative, my kids were told they would have to watch half an hour of Teletubbies if they didn't do what I said. And it worked...:)
I found a worse one...Doodlebops. I would scale a barbed wire fence myself if forced to watch that one!
My oldest would consider watching High School Musical to be capital punishment.
As for Spongebob, I would watch that even if I didn't have kids. Hil-a-ri-ous. And so is the Simpsons, but same said kids are the reason it's not on much. The last time I saw one, it was when Homer went hippie, and he was living in a commune, and George Carlin was the guest. ROFL!!!! King of the Hill is pretty funny too.
But I can think of more interesting things to do than watch TV....;)

Well, you Aussies have to answer for The Wiggles. Tell me that's not a little whack. Captain Feather Sword?? O-k-a-y. Now I know why you had to move to America. That and the girls here of course.

As for the girls thing, that's not my style. I'm completely monogamous when having an affair. :p And you know who is the monogamous affairee, now don't you .;)
BTW I think I left my Calvin Klein briefs at your place, you'd better find them quick!
