It depends how good you girls look in bikinis and bunny suits. :D
But having seen those pictures you sent me Natasha, I think that they would be impressed enough to comment.:)
[Incidentally - why do some of those pictures of you have "sororitygirls.com" at the bottom of them?]
I believe I was the independent girl....you must have me confused with C Girl..  :p

I believe I was the independent girl....you must have me confused with C Girl..  :pWow..."Independent Girl"....that's a sexy title.... I don't think Hugh's going to be able to sell that one easily.
Now Natasha...don't try to disown those pictures now...you know you sent me those before C'Girl even came on the scene. ;)
Besides C'Girl hasn't sent me any yet despite my many requests. She says she is having problems with the auto-shoot function on her camera. No free airfares without pics though girls....in party costume (or without;) ) remember.
[PS Is my avatar the most sleazy, dirty old man, most revolting image you could have as an avatar...asking for pictures...or what?]

I absolutely LOATHE New Year's Eve. Always have. It's takes second place for worst holiday imo, right behind the 4th of July. I always babysat on New Year's, even in college. What the hell, the people would pay me rather generously for the night, let my boyfriend come with me, make us steak dinners . . . . so why not?
Safety is the issue for me for both holidays. Too many drunks on the road New Year's (and too many drunks with explosives on the 4th). And, I'm always exhausted from the entire holiday season and burnt out by New Year's.
My idea of the perfect New Year's . . good wine, cheese and crackers, good movies, curled up with your significant other by the fire. An annual tradition for me.

Welllll....our tradition is drunks with explosives...on New Year's Eve. Fireworks are so much better in winter -- it gets dark at 5:00! Less chance of forest fires as well. We have a place in the country with a pond we shoot'em over. Just kidding about the drunk part. Have a big bonfire, listen to the radio, eat s'mores, blow stuff up. Great time really.
As far as going to parties...better off staying at home. Once when my kids were really little, we tore up construction paper and put it on the ceiling fans, and at midnight we turned them on and they had confetti. :)
But the 4th...man, that's my favorite holiday! Fireworks at the Arch...very cool.

I like New Year's Eve in the US because it is only time I can go to a party/dinner with other people and they don't start yawning and leaving at 9:30pm just as the conversation's starting to get interesting.

Hahahahahahahahaha . . . .
Now there are some crazy memories. I like talking to you. You make me remember great times that I'd long since forgotten. The 4th at the VP. YIKES!!!!
I used to like the holiday then. I enjoy public displays (that's fireworks displays Cranky ;) ), especially VP Fair (what's it called now?) But, all the drunk guys coupled with the serious heavy duty explosives they can get their hands on today and being a parent have totally turned me off of it. Boys, mass quantities of alcohol, and massive explosives. . . . not a good combination.

There's my avatar boyfriend! Once I went to this party at a country club, and they had this awesome jazz/funk band, with horns, and all the boring loser suburbians were complaining...because they wouldn't play the Electric Slide. The band finally just quit and people started playing their own CD's.
But I found a cool new band to listen to downtown...(before kids    )

And I think they didn't even have it last summer...or maybe it was just a lot shorter. With NO air show. Can you believe?? It was the only air show in the country you could see the Stealth Bomber, and that was only like once over 4 days. Have seen some great concerts there though, the most memorable (in terms of cheese) being...K.C. and the Sunshine Band...that and Tom Jones...

Hey...I was forced to go to Tom Jones...but I have to tell you...he rocked. I couldn't believe it. I was thinking, my MOM listens to Tom Jones...but the dude put on a hell of a concert, and he had hot back-up girls, Cranky, so you shouldn't judge too quickly....;)
I almost didn't make it anyway, I had to go fourwheeling in my Toyota Corolla because the highway got shut down because of a big accident.
