Yep, season tickets, those very same double black diamond slopes. My eldest wants to learn to snow board this year. Santa is bringing him a snowboard for XMas. My youngest wants to learn to ski this year, so we're very anxious.Have you two considered how alike you both are? Both grew up in STL, both lived in Cleveland, both went to Mizzou and partied, both got married, both had two sons, both spend time on the same cycling forum, and both secretly in love with Cranky.:D

The female reindeer,to kill a little time, go out and "blow a few bucks".
As to Viagra I really don't know.
As to "quote" it's there so you lost me on that one.
And if you want to know about skiing, you have come to the right place as I was born with skis on my feet.
Really pissed my mother off. That's right. Doesn't your bio in cycling forums say something about you being a professional/semi-professional skiier once?
I just checked, you used to be a professional skiier! Wow, that's impressive. Were you a renegade like Bode Miller? Or a quiet achiever type? Did you ever represent USA like at the Olympics or World Championships?
And good one on the female deer punch-line, I totally missed where you were going with that.:D

I'll PM my resume to you.Wow...I was going to ask if you skiied with that other era big ego, Bill Johnson. I just found out (wikipedia) that he ended up broke in a mobile home and tried to mount a come-back attempt in 2000 for the 2002 winter olympics at the age of 40. As you no doubt know, he crashed in training and was comatosed for three weeks. He suffered brain damage as a result and is on disability under the constant care of his mother. Sad story, though I don't think he had too many friends when he was on top of the skiing world.

His life was a circle and unfortunately it started bad and circled back. my excuse is that I was born with dane brammage.

I just realized something jhusk. This is the jocks and cheerleaders thread. And we've got some good-lookin' and fun cheerleaders here as well.:)
BTW - After the Hugh Heffner theme party at Bro's place in Colorado, can you take us all out for a ski lesson at Breckenridge or something? The Apres-ski's not bad there.;)

Speaking of dane bramaged jocks. In a previous life I played cricket in an Asian expatriate outpost for a while, and we used to play a fun game the day after Christmas (called Boxing Day in Australia and England) between all the Aussie expats on one team against all the English expats on the other.
Anyway, we Aussies were a bit short this particular year, so, as the designated Aussie skipper, I rang up our club squash coach who happened to be a New Zealander and a decent cricketer by chance. After asking him if he could play for us, he said "But I'm not an Aussie". And I replied that this year, we were making it northern hemisphere versus southern hemisphere because we were short of players. And he goes "Aw...so which hemisphere are we?".
This is no joke.
And I went "Seriously...you don't know which hemisphere Australia and New Zealand are in??". And he goes.."No..I didn't do geology at school."
True story.

Okay, C Girl, now the snow's turning into rain... I'm dreaming of a sloppy Christmas....
White blanket of fresh snow, coming down fast and steady here. Supposed to have white out blizzard conditions tomorrow during the football game, which the darling men in my life will be attending. I'm just laughing at them. I can't wait to rub it in their faces that I watched it on the big screen by the roaring fire, while wrapped up in a nice warm blanket. :p

I love the town, but actually I like Copper Mtn. better for terrain. The terrain at Breck is a little flat on the bottom so you need to stay at the top and get on at midway and ride back up. Cooper has some decent off trail skiing also.
Keystone, A-Basin all there in Summit Co. and we can slide over to Vail in 30 minutes or so.
I just can't afford to eat at Vail. $20 burgers.
But yes, the apres ski life is good after 4 O'clock Run.
I have devoted a life to perfecting my "Alpine Pillow Skiing" techniques.
This is good party I am headed to in a few CF, you should be here.
It always has some good moments.
btw: I doubt I will be posting later and if I do please disregard what I post.
Yes I know, you always do.
