you guys know nothing about bikes or lost your bottle - i guess you know nothing about bikes like the rest of these forums -
Looks like you just upgraded an entry level road bike.
Why not just buy a better model?

Like the above poster, I don't totally understand the lengths you went on the upgrade. Money burning a hole in your pockets? SRAM Force will set you back a pretty penny. Why upgrade that particular frame? I don't know what you paid for those shifters, but I can tell you what the dealer probably paid, and how you probably should have waited for the SRAM Red stuff to come out.

You should be more patient about getting responses.
The Synapse frame is alright. SRAM Force......well, the jury is still out. A few people aren't happy with the build quality. I'd definitely get another crank. SRAM/Truvativ cranks have less than stellar histories. Dura Ace, Ultegra, Record, and Chorus cranks would all trump the SRAM cranks. Pedals are fine. Handlebar is fine. Headset is fine. Seatpost is fine. I wouldn't choose the FSA stem. Instead I'd opt for a Ritchey 4-Axis or a Syntace stem.
you should have just bought a bike with the parts you WANTED on it instead of upgrading.
you DID test ride the bike before buying it, right????

you DID test ride the bike before buying it, right????i could have done that but i would be paying in excess of 3-4k this way it cost me 2k & i got a 4k bike ha ha

Maybe I am missing something.....you obviously are proud of what you have done, feel that you got an good economic deal, and then chuckle....what is your point in all this?
A pat on the back?

What a troll. Go put some miles on that bike and come back when you grow up.

Ah, that explains the entire post.......

who invited you to the debate you plank

well m8 use constructive criticism instead of being rude & ill be a bit nicer
well m8 use constructive criticism instead of being rude & ill be a bit nicerHow's this for criticism: Piss off, you stupid little ****tard! With your attitude, we could all give two ***** about the bike you built.
You came here with a negative attitude, and continue to display it in practically every post. From the start, you belittled everyone here and the forum itself, simply because no one answered your original post from Sunday in a timely manner. You know, the day most people are relaxing, riding their bikes, diddling your girlfriend, etc.
Go ahead with another juvenile little comeback, this is my last post in this topic. It's all yours now, "m8".
anyway thanks alienator for the comments - shame we have some council trash on here making remarks but i suppose there mommys has gone to bingo forgetting to lock her computer

1) You indeed wrote me a callous reply, but then you edited it as if that type of conversation were below you.
2) You then send me a private message calling me a "dickhead" and such.
and the kicker.........
3) A quick google search shows you're just as popular on another cycling website, asking the same question and receiving the same answers: http://forums.bicycling.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/612104717/m/4681050053/p/1
Since you're obviously quite dimwitted, here's a suggestion you should write down and reference daily:
Don't ask for people's opinions, if all you really want is a pat on the back.
who invited you to the debate you plank
When you post on a public forum everyone is invited....who's the plank?

Steelem,
First, re: the posted thread at Bicycling, according to Newtonian physics, there is absolutely no way for your performance to have increased as was claimed. None. With 400+ years of never ending proof in the bag, my money is on Newtonian physics beign right on this one.
Second, everyone is right: if you don't want to read opinions that you don't like, then don't post in a public forum. You've flamed a lot here, and at Bicycling, displaying none of what you apparently expect of others.
I'd suggest a mea culpa and a fresh start if you want to be taken seriously. Thick skin is good, too. It is the internet, after all.
Why did you bother to ask if nobody in these forums knows nothing about bikes???you guys know nothing about bikes or lost your bottle - i guess you know nothing about bikes like the rest of these forums -
