View Full Version : Bauer: "I am not going to sit in my office and complain about what's wrong...."
In the second part of his interview Bauer over the weekend on Canadiancyclist he had a great quote:
"I am not going to sit in my office and complain about what's wrong with Canadian cycling, because I would rather look at what is great and continue to make it greater."
Tell us what that is, Steve.
Here is an assessment by Kris Westwood, former High Performance Director of the CCA:
The 270 kilometre course was tough and to be honest this was a completely different level of competition, said Canadian team manager Kris Westwood. Its as if the guys went from junior hockey to the NHL. It was the first elite race for all three at the world championships.
Interesting to note that after I circulated this comment and after Matt Hansen was critical of it the CCA changed the post on their web site and deleted it.
Thankfully, we have the original posted here for everybody to see.
