I saw this in the paper today, I guess many teams want him but he's staying on symetrics!

"To be a part of Symmetrics at this point is unbelievable," said Meier. "Symmetrics is rewriting Canadian cycling history."

In Meier's shoes I would stay with Symmetrics as well. If the salary at Symmetrics is as good as people claim it's definitely a pull factor. And he is allowed to race for himself and try to get good results. Also he can stay at home which is kind of nice too. However it's bit risky to say no to offers. If he can't get similar results next year there won't be offers...even with similar results there might not be offers at the end of -08 season.

The one thing I didn't like was that "Guys go over [to Europe] and end up getting blown out because it's a totally different world," he said. "It's so much harder to ride clean at that level." Sure it's harder to ride clean when the level is higher...or is he hinting that a clean guy couldn't do it? Maybe he should make those comments after trying to race a full season in europe.
