Do you think that implantation of pacemaker is the ideal solution for atrial flutter. My dad is going to do a surgery to implant one…..I do not want him to because I’m afraid of surgeries……surgeries are not always successful. I have asked him to continue with his medicines, brevibloc (http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3123-s-BREVIBLOC.aspx). Well, he never had any problem with it but I don’t know why he took such an abrupt decision of doing the surgery. If you were to decide between surgery and medication then what would you choose?
