Is trackstanding a tranferrable skill to unicycling?
I've never ridden or attempted to ride a unicycle. Lately I've been thinking about it though.
I often ride a fixed gear and recently learned to trackstand.
Does my ability to trackstand make any easier to learn to unicycle?

To be honest with you, I have never heard the term trackstand. What is it?

I found out what trackstanding is. I have done it myself, just did not know what it was called.
Learning the trackstanding may give you some benefits to riding a unicycle, but to me personally trackstanding is more of a side to side balance where riding the unicycle is more of a front to back balance.
End result though, if you are able to trackstand good, it probably will not take you long to learn who to ride a unicycle.
