There is going to be a show on Discovery HD Theater about 2 amatuer cyclists who got to train with the team and do a couple stages of the Tour de France.

I checked the schedule and it seems to be premiering on January 13th at 8 pm.
Here is the link to the trailer on youtube and a link to the Discovery site.

Seems interesting and if it didn't involve being on a reality TV show where everyone can watch your whole life I'd be interested in trying it. The training, gear/bikes, trips, etc are pretty damn cool. I'm still disappointed they didn't give the chance to riders who were in shape recreational riders. Judging from Adam Austin's video diaries on youtube (his comments) he practically didn't ride at all before this thing started and was quite out of shape. So we're not really seeing whether he could fully take advantage of the training as he'd have needed an entire year to put himself in the shape necessary to really see how far the few months of training could take him.

Adam was a recreational rider as well. Seems like he has been in it but just not for a long period of time.

Might be a cool look at the TDF and how recreational riders will do in that setting.
