Great race report, rare for an elite, thanks Doug, enjoyed it. I guess out
in SF they figure it's fun to give the locals a course advantage, as
reported by Dan also, with this one saying "And the website said runners are
ultimately responsible for knowing the course". Not sure how I feel about
that really. If the map they provide is a detailed topo with junctions very
clear, its fine, but otherwise I'm tempted to say that it's bull****. I'm
not the only one who had run off a course at sharp turn and gotten really
pissed off not necessarily at the course markings but in general. If you
lose a lot of time it can ruin your race experience. Vandals aside, to leave
a course less than well marked seems cruel.

I agree Tony. With this much money on the line I think they should
thoroughly mark the course. I sure as hell depend on proper course
marking unless the RD says I have to fend for myself.

I agree Tony. With this much money on the line I think they should
thoroughly mark the course. I sure as hell depend on proper course
