Hey, now! I don't like what you're implying seein' how yer 5 years or so younger than me! I'm not feelin' middle-aged just yet.

I blame my parents. They made me go through my middle aged years, when I was a pre-teen by making me listen to AM radio, country & western music, and Bobby Goldsboro. Somewhere just after high school, my musical tastes banked hard, hit the afterburners, and headed in the opposite direction. While it seems all my friends' musical tastes keep getting softer, mellower, and more like elevator music, mine keep accelerating in the other direction.

And dammit, don't accuse me of being hip, either.
