Do Oakley frames hold up?
I just bought some Oakley Radars, which are very nice, but I have a fairly wide head and when I put these on I need to stretch them just a little. I am concerned that over time they might fatigue and may crack right down the middle.
Anyone else experience this?
Thanks

I'd take the chance, Oakley makes by far the best optics. Radars should be pretty robust though. If they break, I think you can argue warranty successfully.

I have the same problem of an enlarged head, but figure if they break, claim it on warranty.Just take care of them and put them on slowly and carefully and they should be fine

Really, they do? Do they make other optics other than glasses? Did they win some competition? Was there some objective study done?
I didn't think so.

Every day I wear a pair of Oakley Eyejackets that I bought back in 1997 (!). I broke one of the arms on them once (I sat on them), and Oakley repaired them for free. I've been very careful not to lose these as I have expensive prescription lenses in them. Regarding the optics, they are crisp and clear and very scratch-resistant. Overall they've held up extremely well. The paint has worn off where they contact my ears and nose, but you can't see it when I'm wearing them so I don't care. I'd say they are by far the best sunglasses I've ever had.

Oooooooh, you are a card, aren't you? Why, I don't know if I'll be able to stop chuckling at your little knee-slapper, there.

I've used a few of pairs of Oakleys over the years. Pretty good, but no way are they worth the cost premium over less expensive brands, in my opinion.

Oakleys have been scientifically proven to be the best sunnies around. They win hands down in all the studies and papers written on them.
Not only that they are lighter and more durable.
And stiffer.
