£400 hardtail v £750 full sus

i am looking at spending £400 on a gt avalanch 2.0 mainly as a commuter bike to and from work with the odd trail ride a few times a year. but my head has been turned by a beone recon on chain reaction cycles for the same price, but its rrp is £750.

what i would like to know from you knowledgable folks at cycling forums, which would you spend your money on, the gt or the beone??
