HEB Bayou Classic 10K in Houston

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). I am planning on running the Bayou Classic 10K which is held annually in Houston. I was wondering if
anyone on this newsgroup has ever run this race. If so what sort of a course is it, hilly, flat etc.
What to expect on race day. How early should I get there. Thanks. Farang.

: Houston with hills, so it will be flat unless they go over an overpass.
