Traveling for Marathon
I am flying from the east coast to san diego for the rnr marathon in June. Anyone have tips on
travel - when to get there in time to recover enough to run well?
Thanks! Catherine

For me, the travel keys have been getting a long night's sleep two nights before the marathon, and
not flying the day before the marathon if possible. In a perfect world, I would want to be in the
city for at least two full days before the race, and in time to do at least one short recovery or
tune-up run at the site. Good luck. chris
