Curious to know how many here have run ultras. Since it's likely you first ran shorter distances,
maybe a marathon or two or twenty, what were the biggest adjustments you made/make in training and
race strategy when shifting to an ultra? Chris

Having run one 50k, I can note with certainty that the single most important training aid that could
be offered to a prospective ultra-runner would be a complete frontal lobotomy.

Mike, are you in/near the dipsea course?

I'm just about 10 miles away...just curious,...I may try to register for that race this year,...key
word being "try",...too much demand, not enough supply
