calcium citrate and calcium rich foods

I have noticed if I combine within a couple hours space of time my 500
mg. tablet of calcium citrate (with 250 mg. of magnesium), and calcium containing foods which might
total 300-400 mg. especially in the evening, that my stomach keeps me awake half the night with
the growlies like too much acid. Any correlation between combining different kinds of calcium or
the total amount and increased stomach acid production?
