new 2.4 works once and then dies?
Hoping some of you might be able to assist before I send it back to Saris. Received new race and training wheels with 2.4 hub. First time I put in the training wheels no problem and I leave the bike alone for the ride the next day. It's cold the next day but now below 30 (close but not below). I start by zero-torquing the hub (or so I thought) and start to ride but no success getting things going... I do the "logical thing" and start pressing buttons include two attempts at the find feature while moving and while stationary with no success -- no transmission icon though. Go home and set up the 808s so that they are paired with the CPU successfully so I know it's not the CPU. Take out the batteries of the 808s and install them into the training wheels (and vice versa) and see if that makes a difference -- still can't get the training hub to pick up but the 808s do fine... replace all batteries in the training hub and CPU "just in case" as Saris suggests. Still nothing. How does the darn thing work once and then stop forever??? 808s work but I am hoping someone might be able to assist because it's as if I crashed the connection between the CPU and training wheel and prevented it from any subsequent learn/find function (though I can still pair the race/808 wheels)....
sure would appreciate any assistance before I ship it off to Saris...

Any chance you may have some type of interference from other EM sources in the house. I assume you talked to Saris for the battery replacement option. They have a troubleshooting help line to call. Make sure you get a Return Authorization number before you return them. They are not very accomodating with regard to returns, as many of them are simple solutions, that could have been solved with a phone call.Hoping some of you might be able to assist before I send it back to Saris. Wheel was sent back to them as I tried several different options with their troubleshooters (took the battery pack out of the working 808s and put those into the Blackwells) but still could not get the rear hub to transmit. Did all of my efforts to get these working in the same place that they had worked the first night but alas no tranmission... I did get a RMA and they should get the wheel tomorrow which might mean that with a quick fix I'll be riding it in a week (fingers crossed).
many thanks.
