Myrtle Beach rides, clubs?

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). We also feature an great deals in our online store, 100's of articles, classifieds and product reviews.

It looks like I'll be in Myrtle Beach again this week for at least several
days. I'm looking for ideas for rides, and/or clubs in the area I can
ride with.

My home base there is either in Surfside just south of the pier or about 5
miles inland from there just off 707.

Usually I just ride up and down 17 Business and the ocean front, but I'm
getting pretty bored with that.

Any ideas?

If there's a really good place to ride a short drive away, I'm not averse
to putting the bike in the car and driving there.
