This isn't bike related as such, but this is the only vaguely fitness-
related newsgroup I post to so I figured this was the place to post a
Kmart spam.

At the entrance to Kmart Maddington there is a small stack of "boxing
total fitness centre" thingos. Its a punching bag, speed ball and
floor to ceiling ball, chinup bar, vertical knee raise bars and pushup
handles on a big metal frame.

The sign attached to the boxes says "Clearance $180!" and I thought
that was a pretty good price for a punching bag on a stand, not to
mention the other crap.

So I went to the service desk and pointed to the boxes and said "I
want one of those". She wrote a number on a piece of paper for me and
told me to go to the checkout. But when the checkout girl entered the
number the price came out at $160, and then a 25% off discount (I
think they have 25%off special on all sporting goods at the moment),
so the final price was $120.

I did a google search for the unit, the only pics I could find of one
were in this eBay listing:

Anyway, maybe someone in Perth would benefit from this. For $120 I
think it was a pretty good deal, and I figured I'd share it with you
guys.

By the way, its a single 79kg box and would need a van, station wagon
or at least a big hatchback to take home. It fit, just, in the back
of the wife's Yaris.

Had anyone particular in mind? Cyclists aren't known for their upper body development. ;)
