Yup. My good friend 'tempus' can cure all...
Roger.
Torn my VMO a few times. Wt. work, x-training on the bike, thorough warm-ups when you resume
running, ultrasound if you can get it, massage. It takes me a good couple months to get over this
type of injury (I'm
44), before I'm reasonably confident it won't recur.
I'm basically paranoid about this recurring and I'm hypersensitive to that tight twinge feeling that
precedes the stabbing pain.
I think basic wt. work affords some insurance against this.
Good luck and I very much sympathize.
