BMC 100km - 20 Apr 08 - Anyone else in??

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). We also feature an great deals in our online store, 100's of articles, classifieds and product reviews.

After getting in too late to enter the 100km Ottway Oddysey mtb race a few
weeks ago I have decided to enter the BMC 100km on the premise that once I
had spent the $100 I would definitely make the effort to get there for the
race - especially as it is only an hour or so away from Melb (Woodend).

I am not planning on doing any specific training for the event and will
pretty well see how I go on the day. This is a similar strategy that I took
for the 250km Around the Bay in a Day a couple of years ago and it worked OK
then, although I have a sneaking suspicion that an off-road event might
prove a little tougher!!!

Anyone else heading up for the race from Melb??

Not doing it, but I hear the course is flat and fast - expect a sub 4hr time for the winner.
