I thought the limit was 65mm but then I saw this:

The info on this seems to be harder to find than I thought :)
The last I heard, the only 'main' requirement was that wheels had to have 16 or more spokes. I figure it's safe to assume that if some of the CSC guys are using 808s in mass-start races, then it's ok
Anyway, here's a link to the UCI rules. I couldn't be bothered looking for the excat bit :p

Funny; I read another link which said spokes have to be "made of metal", so what then happens to the carbon spokes on some of the 'fancy' wheels? :)
