From www.cyclingnews.com SF 2003 live report

13:21 PDT - 83 km/89 km to go In the break, the five riders are keeping a very smooth rythm. Gord is
riding strongly after his crash yesterday although he struggled on the last climb. Grajalas is
still flying up the hills and Wherry and Aldag are working at keeping things together and smooth.

Behind the peloton are gradually working at bringing down the gap but it looks like the action is
going to happen later in the race, rather than sooner. **The biggest news at the moment is that an
escaped parrot is flying with the break wanting to land on the pink helmet of Aldag, although it is
struggling on the descent.**

COMMENT: Does Henry know where his pets were yesterday??

I know you do a lot of travelling but...damn, you're reduced to reading classifieds on a flight?
