View Full Version : DA / Force compatable?

I know they are compatable but are they flawless together? I have full Dura Ace on my old bike and it's been flawless for years. Never had any problems. On my new bike I have a DA/Force mix. The bike came with force but I switched out to DA but left the Force cassette and chain because it is supposed to be compatable. But now I have shifting problems (chain skipping) that I can't adjust out. Should I switch the cassette and chain also? Could this be the problem?

Sram and shimano have the same cogset spacing and chain widths but shifters are not compatible. Must match Sram/shimano levers with their derailleurs. BUT cogsets/chains are intercompatible.
