View Full Version : Ekimov
I was just looking over the results of all the SF Grand Prixs, and yes, that's what it should always
be known as. I noticed Ekimov is the only rider to finish in the top 20 in the all three SF races.
He is probably the oldest to boot! I just thought that weird little stat was kinda cool.

Not weird at all. He's riding for Postal/Berry next year, to boot. He's easily one of the most
disciplined and complete riders racing today and he's valued for it. There was an interview with him
recently in one of the cycle mags, but he was on the russian national/army team during the
occupation of Afghanistan. His luck (your bike breaks, you lose, off to the front you go) and
determination he credits with saving his skin.
