I'm considering purchasing a cycle trainer, the type that the rear wheel fixes to. Can anyone
recommend one.
Thanks

Nope because they are the most mind numbingly boring way of passing the time.

Micheal,
I frequently use a Tacx trainer throughout the winter months to helpmaintain my fitness for the
following season. Used when it's dark or raining it can really help your performance. I use mine in
the garage and watch TV and videos to pass the time.
Do a Google search on this group and you will find plenty of recomendations...the subject has
been covered many many times. If you then have any specific questions, please fire away and I'll
try to help.

I bought a second hand Tacx off Ebay, one of the Magnetic versions. about £50, and great. They are
boring, but plonk it in front of the TV, and its a great way to put in a few miles that otherwise
would be spent slouching.

(BTW: I also have a set of rollers, that I almost never use...)
