Anyone who has any experience of road cycling in Sardinia? Please let me know any tips and comments.
Were thinking of touring Sardinia and Corsica next spring and have been doing some research on the idea. You can check out www.crazyguyonabike.com and there is a nice journal of Sardinia. There is also a book you can buy http://www.amazon.com/Lead-Goat-Veered-Off-Bicycling/dp/0968674003 we might check it out over the winter.
So far I've found the people and roads to be good but being an island it could get expensive. It would also be cheaper to fly into Cagliari as taking the ferry from mainland is expensive.
