First post on here guys so be gentle.

The Cinelli bike i ride has gone back under warranty for cracks in the chainstay.
They have repaired it and made a mess of it so the retailer will not accept it. I have asked for a full refund as it's dragging on and on.

I'm on the lookout for a bike to replace it with and have taken a fancy to an Orbea Onix, but the bikeshop recommends trek or giant as there customer service is miles ahead of the italian stuff.

Any recommendations from you guys in the price range quoted above ?

Then the choice is obvious . . . . buy the Orbea because it's made in Spain. You won't have to deal with customer service from an Italian company.

Time is definitely the ace in the deck. Time really does make their own frames, starting with raw carbon fibers. Yup.

Charge is making some nice frames.

Fuji does also, and they're quite underrated. Fuji could be the bargain of the bunch.

Giant and Trek make solid frames, although it seems some riders turn up their noses at 'em. It's prolly 'cuz there are so many out there.

DeRosa get hit or miss reviews. From what I've read, riders either love them or hate them.
