Cycling stuff purchasable in the US
View Full Version : Cycling stuff purchasable in the US
I bought myself a bottle of Gerolsteiner mineral water, it was excellent and very inexpensive. Put
in a pinch of instant Gatorade mix for a real treat.
What else can the average American joe buy from a major European cycling sponsor?

Why not buy something from a major North American cycling sponsor instead?
- Boyd S.
does T-Mobile qualify?

Be different and support Jan, buy a Bianchi (everybody and their dog, excluding VDB's dog, has a
USPS Trek).

And the good thing is, you can buy a Bianchi every year when it breaks just after the
warranty runs out.

I've got an older aluminum GT, Dad has a carbon-fiber Giant... I'd like to get an Orbea bike
(Milaneza-MSS, Euskaltel, Jelly Belly) eventually. For now, though, I like the challenge of having
an older, heavier bike. I'll get stronger pushing 160 pounds than I would pushing 150 pounds.
Off topic, though.
T-Mobile, yeah, okay. Mapei, Bianchi, Gerolsteiner. I'm sure I could import Caldirola wine. Other
than that, precious little. But then, I had never heard of most of the American sponsors at the
T-Mobile International, either.

If you're into past cycling sponsors, you can buy Mapei tiles and other building
materials, I'm told.
And, sure, t-mobile should count.

Yep, just go to your DalTile dealer or ask at Home Depot.

If you're into past North American sponsors, go out and buy a Saturn.

How about Colla Vita Olive Oil, or Sierra Nevada Beer, or Jittery Joes Coffee, or a Saturn, oops,
never mind, strike that last one there. Maybe a few stamps to mail your bills with?
