I have tried to search the forums for this. I am pretty new to cycling(just started this past summer), and I very curious to what everyone carries either in their shirt or bag during rides.
What I carry in a specialized under seat bag.
1 spare tube
Patch Kit
2 quick fill air cannisters
Adapter for air cannisters
Presta to schreader valve adapter
Cell Phone
House keys
Id, Debit Card
Tire Levers
Cell Phone CO2 inflator w/ 3 cartridges 2 tire levers Patch kit 1 inner tube $5 Jumbo sized bag of generic Cheetos (16 oz) Usually 2 water bottles. Longer rides I take 3 (It's a desert thing)
1. ID and MEDICAL INSURANCE CARD!!! (hope that i never actualy need it)
2. cell phone
3. spare tube
4. air cannisters/pump
5. food and water
6. $20 & debit card just in case
7. 15mm wrench (dont have quick release)
2x tubes
1x tire leaver
mini pump
A$20
mobile
I.D.
1x or 2x drink bottles
something to eat
Pretty much the same for me but only one water bottle unless it is a long ride and no food unless it is a long ride.
The one thing I carry in addition is a copy of my ID.

good idea to carry some id with afew contact no. just in case of accident i allways carry 30 40 quid in case of anything you never know :o

In addition to almost "all of the above" I carry a copy of my health insurance card. Went riding one day and woke up in the emergency room of a local hospital. Still don't know what caused the wreck but it was convenient for all involved to have the insurance info readily available.
I carry just about "all the above" too and I usually have couple of paper towels folded small in my bag.
I've had to mess with the greasy parts on my bike, or someone else's, during rides and it's nice to be able to clean your hands up a bit.
