View Full Version : Best Endurence Supplaments: Ep-No, EPO Boost, Epo Blast, etc.
Hey people just wondering what a good legal supplement for raising RBC's and endurance would be. These one's all use the EPO name as an attraction, but obviously aren't the illegal supplament EPO. Though I believe they attempt to mimic similar results. Here's a few links:
EP-NO: Dedicated Athlete - EP-NO (http://store.dedicatedathlete.com/MyCart/ProductDetails/456/EP-NO.aspx)
EPO-BOOST: EPO-BOOST™ (http://store.epoboost.com/EPO-BOOST_c_1.html)
EPO-BLAST: VitaDigest.com - EPO-BLAST - Xero EPO-BLAST - Buy EPOBLAST Now and Save! (http://www.vitadigest.com/xero-epo-blast-punch.html)
if anyone has experience with any of these would you care to share? or maybe suggest another similar suppliment that has worked well for you. Yes, I train hard, but I don't like feeling like my competition has an edge over me if it's a legal edge, so these supplements are definitely something I'm interested in
I'm thinking most about the EP-NO... the other 2 look like the fake "big **** pills" you see Ron Jeremy and the Coke Whore try to push on late night infomercials.
Which ever one has the brightest and loudest magazine ad?
If you seriously believe that one of those products will really give someone an edge that makes some substantive difference, then.......well, why don't you give me the money, instead, so I can do something actually useful with it?
alien your a tard. I have used optygen and feel it worked well with recovery. Also there is Perfect Revive which is a little cheaper and has most of the active ingredients of optygen. I usually use this stuff during base training and on a 2 month on 2 week off schedule.

Wow. Welcome to the forum. You should have brought some thought with you.
You "feel" it helps you. So what? Are you auditioning for an infomercial? Did "feel" become proof?

If it works for you, great. I'm glad you dig the ads.
2 month on 2 week off? What kind of a$sbackwards training plan is that?
If you need something that these oddball products are offering then you're missing something in your regular diet. Read the ingredients - there's nothing mystical in there.
The best endurance product out there is one that you like to drink and will balance carbohydrate intake and fat usage throughout the duration of your ride.
You can end the thread here...
I dont take 2 weeks off the bike every 2 months, I do what my coach tells me to do. The person asked a simple question and all you had were snide remarks. I gave my personal opinion about a popular endurance supplement. Do i have data proving that it increased my power, i do not, i only recently in the last year got a power meter so my data does not go back that far. I do train and race a bit and when you are doing 25 hour weeks and have perfect nutrition you have to get your advantages where you can. Will it make a difference for Joe scmoe rec cyclist, probably not but for me I feel like its given me a little edge when im really poring on the miles. Ep No and Boost seem to be just Iron supplements. If your getting enough heme and non heme iron in your system you should be fine. If not skip the EP-NO and go to the pharmacy and get some Slo-FE a time release iron supplement.
