View Full Version : For interest only - Deep, deep sense of personal loss

Hello, i have recently lost 2months of training information due to 'eggs in one basket' attitude of
keeping my current training record on the same medium as the backed up versions. On Monday i found
that i had a (see subject) almost like someone had died. Now whilst the trolls circle, let me
explain. i was beyond gutted. not only had the procedure failed (this had happened before- where i
leaned to back up the file) but just the thought of not be able to see the data again. someone up
there was pointing at me and taunting. ha ha ha you stupid bastard! try that on for size. Still its
friday, and my sense of humour has returned enough for me to openly shame myself. I will try harder,
i will improve my data logging, it won't become an obsession to fastidious record all my training
information so i can see the smallest trend
e.g. i'm tired - training too hard, need more sleep (doh) or i've lost weight - no ****, you're
training more. (tongue between bottom lip and teeth)

its probably for the best, sob, sob (gentle rocking)

Have a good weekend while i rebuild the pieces of my life. To those of you busy seething with
impotent rage at the fact i choose to share this, it is because i can and also i didn't force
you to read
eh. just like i don't have to read your replies. Ta Ta James
