Cedric? Formerly of USPS, but whined about not getting to ride in the TdF? That Vasseur? What a
great guy he isn't.
Here comes Bettini.

They've (he and Armstrong) made up again. He was actually my French pick too

Wrong again, Watson. I base it upon his publicly questioning the team's decisions. I understand
competitive nature and wanting to be part of the most prestigeous race on home soil, but not at the
expense of the team. Riders like that were better off at Cofidis.

So what? That was after he left the team. That happens all the time.

If it's any consolation, he was the top french finisher at 26th.

Actually, it wasn't.

He did complain after he left. Did he also complain while on contract?

Ya. He complained about being left off the TdF team.

Oh right. I had forgotten about that. It was the Tour that went through his home town.
OK, that was pathetic.

He openly questioned the TdF selection for leaving him off. After he left USPS he complained
about not getting his share of bonus money from LA and took at least a parting shot about the
team. I'm sure it's all in the CN archives, but I'm too tired to dig. Power's been out for most
of the day here :-P

Yeah, I remember the spat now. It was over leaving him off the team "even though they course went
through" his home town. He did most of the bitching after he left, but you are right. He was a
baby. Boo hoo.
Other than that, I like him as a rider.
