They need to cut the very fat salaries of the staff of CN and VN and put it into bandwidth.

Bandwidth is cheap these days - maintaining the large girth of those staff members is not.

I pay US .35/gb for 1st tier bw so my streaming multimedia is smooth. You can get cheaper stuff like
Cogent down to US .10/gb. I burn through 3-4 terabits a month so I get a bit of a bulk discount, but
the undiscounted stuff on smaller hosting packages is not much higher. Maybe .50/gig for premium and
a quarter for cogent.

The ad's down the left appear to hold things up, last few races I've seen the source code for the ad
panel dumped out on the page more than a few times.

When are they going to cut the editorial salaries and put it into tech? Clearly, CN has its
priorities screwed up. Very Masters-Fattie-ish: not enough gristle and too much fat.
