When was the last world championships when either Italy or France was shut out of the medals? Both

They're going to be having a ****-fit in Italy.
France, OTOH, is used to sucking.
Remember the days of Italy sweeping all the top spots in the U23 race? Looks as if the EPO test has
served its purpose.

Wow -- good stuff!
Slightly different than mine, as I had both juniors as one point. My token effort at equal
treatment. But this works, as well.

I know, wanted to make the differentiation a little more consistent. I'll mention the original.

RR "team score" -- add placings of top 3 riders from that team. No score if fewer than 3 finish.
Best possible score is 6:
nation score Spain 12 Italy 32 Denmark 53 Netherlands 56 Belgium 67 Switzerland 77 Germany 85
Austria 85 USA 85 Russia 91 France 102 Australia 124 Slovenia 157 Ukraine 176 Great_Britain 202
Canada 206 Poland 207 Portugal 217
Solid result for the US, considering nobody got a top placing.
18 Fred Rodriguez (USA) 30 Guido Trenti (USA) 37 George Hincapie (USA) 60 Floyd Landis (USA) 76
Chris Horner (USA) 92 Levi Leipheimer (USA)
