best tyre changing equipment?

I've recently bought a new bike with Camagnolo Proton wheels and Conti Gator Skin tyres. I recently got my first puncture and spent over 30 minutes trying to gt the tyre bead back onto the rim with my Michelin yellow plastic tyre levers. The Proton rims are apparently a little oversize and this exacerbates the problem with very stiff beads that most good tyres seem to have. Is there anything short of a crowbar that will make this job easier?

The best ones I have ever used are the cheap plastic ones that stick together and are made by pyramid, and other generic companies, usually 3.99 for a set of 3.

All the others are ok, but after changing well over a thousand road tires, the cheap ones prevail.

I was looking for the same sort of recommendation; I'm using ParkTools' blue lever set right now and the "beaks" on these things are way too chunky. Sturdy, but verrrrrrry difficult to get under a tight bead.

I'm looking for some with a some heft but a sharper tip. Cheap is fine. Slightly more than cheap is fine too.

I've used many different tire levers including the Park, Quik-Stick, Performance, and Crank Brothers Speed Lever. None of them compare to the Kool-Stop Sport Levers. I've used them on all sorts of tires and rims and never have a problem. On rare occasions, I've used them to pop the tire back on if the bead is exceptional tight.

Don't get the Kool-Stop race levers as they are a bit narrower and don't work as well with tight beads. Fortunately, the Kool-Stop sports are $3-4. One disadvantage is the sports don't snap together.
