The vet and the soigneur remain preliminary imprisoned at the request of the parket (the
investigating body). Their lawyers call this scandalous as hardly anything is being done in the
last weeks.

A leak in Kortrijk to newspaper De Morgen says some of the riders tested in this case, have been
found positive for Aranesp (the alleged 'wasp').

This is typical bool****. The tendency is to treat the athletes with kid gloves and to go after
the managers and coaches. **** Pound is even proposing that coaches be sanctioned when their
athletes test positive. Can we have some accountability here ? Certainly coaches that dope their
athletes without consent should be punished, but that's not often the case as we are finding
out. The athletes put on a babe in the woods act, when they are quite aware of the substances
they are abusing.

Roussel, Voet. Mrs. Rumsas did time, while everyone was torn up about poor Zulle having to spend a
night in jail. Voet and Roussel were kicked out of their careers, while the athletes themselves are
back in the sport. Guys like Neil Stephens claimed ignorance (every other rider from the '98 Festina
Tour team admitted to doping) and he's now loved and respected as an Australian coach.
