Curious. The same question about the West Highland way posted from four different fake addresses via
Google Groups and no obvious links to anything. I've received SPAM trying to tempt me to porn sites
or switch my mortgage to an anonymous financial organisation in China, but I never though anyone one
would try to tempt me to cycle the West Highland Way with SPAM.

Maybe they will spam you once you get there?

Time-share sharks lining the route and people selling male enhancement medication on small stalls at
stop off points. :-)

did you notice that one of them asked when was the best time to cycle *in* the West Highland way?

Is that a cycling style to which I am unnacustomed?

Hi Tony,

I sent you a mail the other day about some of your childresn ski equipment for sale on your web
site. I have had many problems with mail recently so don't know whether the mail ever reached you or
your reply was lost.

My primary interest was in the Salomon Performa Boots

I suspect this is Scottish college students. They have plagued uk.rec.walking for a few years. The
students were asked to post to a newsgroup to find out about, for example, walking the West Highland
Way. Seems most of them were too thick to come up with a question for themselves. After numerous
complaints it looks like the course material may have changed and uk.rec.walking may be getting less
of this spam...

Indeed. Minced mutton pies, maybe, but not spam.

I hope so. It involves placing thistles on your saddle and then doing a fifty mile ride on it before
tossing your caber.
